Thermocouple S type 650mm ceramic duplex
Type S thermocouple is a high-temperature sensor commonly used in various applications
Composition: It consists of a platinum filament and a platinum-rhodium (10%) alloy mechanically joined at one end (the hot junction)
Temperature Range: Continuous use in oxidizing or inert atmospheres up to 1600°C. Brief periods up to 1700°C
Sheath Material: For high-temperature work, it uses high-purity recrystallized alumina insulators and sheaths
Protection: It requires an impervious sheath to prevent deterioration due to metallic vapor exposure
Output: The generated electromotive force (EMF) changes with temperature, and its calibrated accordingly
